FACILITIES HIRE

The School’s varied facilities are available for hire outside school hours, across evenings, weekends and during school holidays. We welcome local clubs and youth groups wanting regular meeting spaces, and businesses and organisations requiring a venue for conferences or cultural events.

The School has considerable onsite parking in our main car park as well as good car parking access for the disabled at the front of the main reception area.

Ryde School has over 17 acres of beautiful grounds with stunning Solent views with a wide range of venues and leisure facilities for hire across the site.

Facility, Residential, & Event Hire:

Available for evenings and weekends during term time / day rates available in the Easter and Summer Holidays.
Residential Hire
Centenary Boarding House is available for residential hire during some weeks of the Summer Holidays only. The house is a modern, purpose-built facility which can house up to 90 in single and twin rooms, most with en-suite facilities. Some rooms can be made into triples to accommodate family groups.
 
The newly constructed boarding house offers light and airy study rooms overlooking the sea, many with breath-taking views. There is a large family kitchen, various social and study spaces and a large common room with direct access to the garden.
Catered / Corporate Events

Whatever the occasion, you can be assured of a highly professional service from our experienced hospitality team. We pride ourselves on our expertise, courtesy, quality of food and service, and it’s our aim to make your special event run smoothly and ensure it is an event that will not be forgotten.

Our catering team sources fresh local produce wherever possible. Our team will design your menu to your exact specifications and guide you through your choices. Please speak to our catering professionals for further advice and your requirements will be priced accordingly.

We offer our Visitors' Car Park which holds up to 15 cars on a first come, first served basis for any external hires. There is also free on-street parking in nearby roads such as Westwood Road, Spencer Road, and Argyll Street. Should you require any additional parking needs or on-site vehicle access, please specify below.

Please note, one off bookings are charged at a minimum £70 booking fee excluding VAT.

Please note, if your activity involves children, we will ask for a copy of their Enhanced DBS documentation. Should the activity involve adults only, a basic DBS check is all that is required and can be applied for online (please see FAQ).

I confirm that all staff, volunteers, or coaches involved in this activity who are working with children or young people have the appropriate safeguarding checks in place, including an Enhanced DBS check where required.

I confirm I have or will obtain Public Liability Insurance for the activity to be undertaken.
